2021

We have some fantastic news to share!!

The Woman in the Attic by Emily Hepditch has been long-listed for the 2020 BMO Winterset Award!

The award is designed to celebrate and support Newfoundland and Labrador writers and writing, and to commemorate St. John's-born social historian Sandra Fraser Gwyn, OC, who did so much to promote a national awareness of the arts of this province.

The prize awarded to the annual winner is $12,500, while the finalists will each receive $3,000. The award project, managed by ArtsNL, has gained a quality of permanency by the generous support being provided by BMO, which has renewed its award partnership for another five years.

Congratulations to Emily, and to all the authors, for this recognition of your hard work and talent.
